Brebeuf High School- Senior Model for 2012 Tori Scheller!

Tori is one of our Senior Models for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School, she is a lifeguard and is a hostess at Detour Grill in downtown Carmel. She is a very busy bubbly outgoing person. She likes the idea of studying Broadcast Journalism after high school and hopes to someday be a news reporter. Tori also was assigned the task of being our Fashion IT Girl this year and you will be hearing all kinds of fashion sugestions and tips for making the most of your senior picture experience at Marci and Victor Photography!

I think at certain angles Tori looks a lot like Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, best known for her roles as Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bell and as Valerie Malone in Beverly Hills, 90210. Don’t you think?? Christy and I have a long standing habit of doing this…meeting people and saying, “Hey, you kind of look like ________________.” So if you spend any amount of time with us, don’t be suporsed if you hear us say…

Hamburgers or Hotdogs:
Tori: Hot Dogs! Especially when they’re New York style loaded up with all the good stuff.

Have you ever licked the back of a CD or DVD to get it to work?
Tori: Ewww! I don’t think I’ve ever even thought about doing that.

Tori: Summer or Winter:

Summer for sure! Even though I love going skiing and bundling up by the fire, I can’t live without the beach and laying poolside and soaking up the sun! Plus being tan is SO much better than being pale.

Ever been in a car wreck:
Tori: Not yet! Even though everyone thinks I’m the accident prone type, I have yet to be in a car wreck….and I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Most embarrassing moment:
Tori: The most embarrassing thing that has happened to me was when my older brother’s really cute friend accidentally walked in on me when I was changing. Let’s just say it’s a little bit awkward between us now!

Dream car/ job/vacation:
Tori: My dream car is a white Range Rover decked out with all super cool extras. My dream job is to be a news reporter and make my way up to being a TV personality on a show like Entertainment Tonight. My dream vacation is to travel to a small island in the middle of nowhere and learn how to surf and just relax on the beach!

Your wallet: I always have a little bit of spending money, but I am NOT good at saving my money at all. I always find something new that I have to have.

When I grow up I want to_________.
Tori: After college I want to have a job as a lead news reporter, and from there, I want to either travel to a larger city and continue to be a reporter, or host an entertainment show!

If I could change anything about the world…
Tori: I know this is the cheesiest answer of all, and definitely NOT original, but I would make it so there’s peace and not war

Red or Pink?
Tori: I love pink! I’m very girly and the color definitely suits my personality.

Celebrity crush:
Matt Damon! I know it’s kinda random, but he’s gorgeous!

Favorites-
I cannot live without the beach, hot sauce, sushi, and Speedway slushies!

Movie: A Cinderella Story is and will ALWAYS be my favorite movie. I know every single line….oh well
Restaurant: Naked Chopstix! If you haven’t been there you have to go! Try the Crunch Munch and the Playboy roll…you’ll LOVE them
Drink: Arnold Palmer! Only 99 cents!
Magazine: COSMO! It always has the best health and beauty articles and has really good fashion spreads too
Way to relax: When I’m really stressed, I love going to the gym and turning my iPod all the way up and then just sitting in the sauna. It calms me down so much and gets my mind off of everything!!
Place: I love North Carolina! Ever since I was born my family rents a house on the beach with some friends from Ohio and some of my favorite memories have been made there!
Store: Urban Outfitters! The thing I love about Urban is that there isn’t one close to Indy besides Bloomington and Chicago, so when you’re wearing some of their clothes, it’s likely that nobody else will have it, and their clothes are super cute!
Boy: Chase Crawford…but when he’s playing Nate on Gossip Girl
Performer: Dave Matthews Band! They are the BEST performers and by far the best concert of the summer
Outfit: Skinny jeans and a really cute tank are always a great choice. You can wear it day and night and it’s suitable for basically anyyyy occasion.
Makeup: I always have to have mascara and eyeliner. I love to make my eyes pop, and these do the trick!
Photographers: MARCI AND VICTOR!!!! Best photographers EVER (lol trick question!)

    Wordless Wednesday.

Taylor Childers- Featured Senior Session- Indianapolis Photographer

Taylor was one of our 2011 Senior Models for Hamilton Southeastern High School. In fact, Taylor was our Top Model, winning the $150 gift card for bringing in the most referrals. She was a blast to work with and we did a couple of really cool and creative things at her full senior session. It was great working with Taylor and we wish her all the luck as she makes her final decisions for college and her future.

Let it snow, Let it snow! – Indianapolis Senior photographer

We usually don’t have enough snow at this time of year to even advertise for our winter wonderland of snow sessions! But that was not the case this month! It’s not always a popular opinion but I LOVE snow, I love to shoot in the snow and I love how gorgeous everyone looks in their fun snow gear! Might as well enjoy it while this wonderful white fluffy stuff is here. Mooresville High School seniors and bet friends, Alexis and Desi are certainly no exception! They looked fabulous and we had a ball playing with our new “invisible” bubble chair out in the fresh and falling snow. Pure Gorgeousness! Photographer: Marci Ralph

FACEBOOK FAN FAVORITE SENIOR PICTURE / Best Senior Pictures in Indiana

We recently held a contest on our facebook fan page for our 2010 seniors to enter their favorite Marci Ralph / Victor Maiquez senior picture. Senior clients that chose to participate rallied together their friends and families to vote for them in what could be an annual just for fun event. Prizes were to be awarded for the top three vote getting images. Top prize with the most votes was a $100 gift card to a favorite store (or $100 cash) and a photo shoot for the winning senior and a group of friends. Second and third place winners would also receive a photo shoot for themselves and a few friends at our studio in old downtown Mooresville, Indiana.

Our first place winner for a photo shoot for her and friends of her choosing is Nicole Holmqvist of Plainfield High School. I shot Nicole’s Senior pictures during our packed out busy season in the summer of 09. They turned out fabulous and she totally rallied her friends and family together to ROCK THE VOTE! Her friends shot her votes up over 1k and earned her $100 cold hard cash to help her out with some spending money for her spring break trip to Florida! Have fun on [SBX] and don’t spend it all in one place! heheha! Here is a little sneak a peek at her photo shoot with her friends Emma and Sarah!

Of over 275 senior sessions last summer we had 38 decide to participate in this fun little ditty of a contest. I was fun to read all the comments that were posted as votes on each picture!
