After a couple of failed attempts and some rain putting things on hold, I finally had the chance to get the Yeats family in front of my camera. Julie and Joel are practically related.. as she is the life long best friend of my husbands younger sister. Julie was a student, cheerleader and volley ball player of mine from my past life as a teacher and coach. It is always great to get to see the families of former students. Colton is such a great and loving big brother. As you can see them snuggling in some shots near the bottom of this post… Colton was the instigator in the sweet squeezes for his sister Addy. I was melting watching them with each other as they truly made this shoot so easy!
Great to see you all again.. three years was too long. Let’s not wait so long until next time! Enjoy your images!
Here is an absolutely perfect session with our favorite family, the Ledbetters. Elizabeth, David and Ryan really brought out the personality in this one. Their lovely mother, Sherrie looks over to us, as her fully grown children are running around our two acre studio with as much energy as 5-yr-olds and says, “What are you gonna do? This is just the way the are!” We absolutely love them for how they are, and for giving us such fun images! I think we like the outtakes just as much, if not more, than the settled images! This session was more of just a documentation of their silly personalities, us running around taking photos of whatever they came up with. We find ourselves saying, I wish every family was like this! Then everyday would be like disneyland!

We first met just one of the Ledbetter boys during his girlfriend’s shoot in the summer, and we knew we had to get him in front of our camera! When we were giving him information on setting up a session, he informed us that he was a twin. You mean there’s two of you???!! I’m sure they hear that all of the time, but that’s the first thing that came out of our mouth’s. Too good to be true… too beautiful, very photogenic boys and will literally make you laugh a hole in your side. There was never a dull moment with these two. There was never a dull image either! Check it out!
