Known for her unique brand of fashion inspired imagery, Marci Ralph has established one of the most loved and highly sought after boutique photography studios in Indiana. Through ongoing education, she has mastered technical skills that enable her to manipulate all types of light to flatter your face and body while creating differnt moods and looks for your session.

She has also garnered a reputation with clients and peers as a truly outstanding set designer. Passionate about design and determined to set herself apart from the pack, she began her journey to build one-of-a-kind sets for what has become known as the Studio Back Lot. The Back Lot is filled with vintage furnishings, original hand built sets and hand-painted backdrops upon which to create her unique brand of imagery.

Clients are awe struck when they arrive for their session and see the selection of choices given them as they experience her vision first hand. It soon becomes apparent that this is NOT going to be your typical run of the mill picture taking session! “I want you to have fun and relax while I take care of the technical work, the lighting and in posing you to allow the real you to shine through. YEATS- VINTAGE FIELD FAMILY- INDIANAPOLIS FAMILY

After a couple of failed attempts and some rain putting things on hold, I finally had the chance to get the Yeats family in front of my camera.  Julie and Joel are practically related.. as she is the life long best friend of my husbands younger sister. Julie was a student, cheerleader and volley ball player of mine from my past life as a teacher and coach. It is always great to get to see the families of former students. Colton is such a great and loving big brother. As you can see them snuggling in some shots near the bottom of this post… Colton was the instigator in the sweet squeezes for his sister Addy. I was melting watching them with each other as they truly made this shoot so easy!

Great to see you all again.. three years was too long. Let’s not wait so long until next time! Enjoy your images!

2013 SENIOR MODEL – ELIZABETH LEDBETTER- SENIOR PICTURES INDIANAPOLIS

We’ve been shooting Elizabeth’s family for a few years now, and we always get so excited when they call!  No session with the Ledbetters is in any way dull or boring!  They always bring lots of laughs and smiles to our faces, and its goes without saying that they are all simply beautiful!  A photographers dream.   We had known we wanted to have Elly, which she is more commonly know, as one of our Senior Models since we shot her, also stunningly beautiful twin brothers, David and Ryan, back in 2009.  Since then we’ve done numerous sessions with the Ledbetters.

We did Elly’s shoot in Broad Ripple, which is one of our favorite locations to shoot our new Urban Locations sessions.  Elly did not disappoint!  She brought personality, style and attitude and that thing we like to call ‘IT’.  When someone just has that thing you can’t explain!  Thanks Elly, you’re awesome!  Look for more of Elly’s pictures later on this year :)

Covergirl in waiting.. Dakota. Indiana Model Portfolio

This is Dakotas third session with us and she never fails to disappoint. She is not only beautiful on the outside but she is beautiful on the inside. Full of manners and personality she keeps us entertained with her love of life and laughter. Dakota recently signed with Heyman Talent | artist agency,  with her personality, ease of working in front of the camera and her signature long locks she is sure to be a hit.

SHOES SHOES SHOES- INDIANAPOLIS SENIOR PICTURES

Vintage is a big part of fashion as are shoes! These shoes from URBAN OG are perfect for some of the looks found at Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, locally at Pitaya and they won’t break the bank. It’s worth it to plan ahead and order several pairs. They have awesome boots, party shoes, flats, wedges and more! Check it out!

FRANKLIN CENTRAL SENIOR – OLIVIA CLOER – INDIANAPOLIS SENIOR PICTURES

April 28, 2012 – 6:38 pm

What a great day it was when this little ray of sunshine walked into our studio! Olivia was born to be in the eyes of millions! In fact, you may have seen her on CBS’s Kid Nation in 2007, along with her younger sister, Mallory (whom we can’t wait to shoot in the upcoming years!). Olivia expressed what a great learning and humbling experience it was… probably one thing that supports her growing up to be such a strong, humble and lovely woman. “We are really lucky with her… she’s such a good kid. She’s like having a ray of sunshine around the house!” commented Olivia’s mother, Tina. Her beauty shines through from the inside!

Olivia is also an aspiring singer/actress, heading off to college next fall to pursue writing and do theatre. I’m sure she’ll make her presence known someday in the eyes of million, once again… or so we can hope! Good luck Olivia!
