Wide Open Spaces… the big {announcement}

I am very excited to announce some exciting changes! After months of searching and planning, I am thrilled to finally announce that I have a studio loft! We will have so much more space to accommodate our photo sessions as well as having an easier place to find! It’s close to many many of my favorite places aorund Mooresville so we can shoot outdoors as well as once again offering indoor studio lighting sessions.

What about the {Studio Lot} you ask? It will still be available from June- the fall season. So the couch in the feild, the beach hut, barn and more is still available on a limited basis. More options, more fun!

Will you still take Winters off from December – February? We’ll I am still a winter hermit and I need the break after all you seniors wear me out in the summer and fall buit the good news is I will be accepting a limited number of appointments in the winter months when we have never really been able to shoot much before. YEAH!!!!!

The loft is an upstairs space that features a huge ballroom that will serve as our shooting area.. the light is amazing!! We have a lounge and display area, kitchen and large bath and dressing room. So if you can do stairs we are in business. Now if you have a problem with going up and down stairs that doesnt mean we can’t do a session. We will just have to work together on location or at the Studio Outlot.

Here are a few shots of it now… just wait to see what we are up to. Fun paint colors and it is going to be SAWEEET!!! :) We are aiming for a Grand Opening on Sunday June 1st.
Talk to you soon!

{the entrance} sSee those stairs!!! I will loose weight! I will loose weight! I will loose weight!

{Update} Spring Bookings

April 08 is now closed for any further bookings.

I have 6 dates left in May for Seniors.  {May 08 Seniors} please keep in mind that getting your order back by graduation is not guaranteed at this point in time. Why? you ask. I will not sacrifice quality to rush through the proofing process. I want you to look your best and I want your prints to be top notch. After your session it typically takes 2 weeks for proofing, you have 7 days to place your order and it takes 3-4 weeks to get prints back from the lab. So getting prints back for open houses in June is a definite possibility but getting them back before graduation and in time to have them in your announcement mailings probably isn’t going to happen with a May appointment.

{2009} Seniors… please keep the above in mind! Do not wait until the last minute to get {YOUR} appointment booked. I have approximately 10 spots left in June according to my waiting list. If you want a June appointment email me right away to get on the waiting list for an appointment.

I will be unveiling some very exciting news on Monday April 14th!!!! Be sure to check back in for a pictorial and the latest breaking news for Marci Ralph Photography!!

{Samantha}

I’m very behind in blogging.  But just wanted to share a couple of Samantha. She is an 08 senior at Hamilton South Eastern High School in Carmel. She loves to travel and is very active in her churches youth department NORTH BEACH. We actually met and began our session at the church where they have the coolest teen area of any church I have ever seen. After that we drove south to Indy and the canal walk…

{I do} Ben and Stephanie

Sweetest couple ever!!! We had not met previous to the big day as they were coming in from Conneticut to get married. You could just see how much he treasured her and how special they both are was reflected in the love of thier family and friends.  They got married on one of th coldest days I can remember ever shooting a wedding on. It was windy and 27 degrees with a little snow in the air.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!  More previews to follow…

{Welcome} to the new BLOG!!!

Hey!!!!   I’ve been working overtime to update our look and bring you a more functional place for information relating to sessions, tips, and pricing. It’s still the place to see your sneak peeks but now a great place to find out the 411! Look for posts on the latest make-up trends, fashion, Americas Next Top Model chatter and gossip to pop up from time to time. Maybe even some hip music and American Idol talk. Anything else you wanna chat about? Let’s talk!

If you have been hiding in a cave you may have also missed that we have a new {SENIORS ONLY} website. After much deliberation we have changed our focus completely around to the most rockin’ clientele on the planet….. SENIORS!!!! We will still do occasional bridal sessions as long as they are edgy, fun and funky. Of course the fashion, commercial, headshots and model portfolios will continue as well.

You will see a few personal things pop up too like pictures of our grandson and family stuff. Speaking of Noah… he will be a year old in a few days!!! Can you believe it? He’s so big and so fun!!! We miss him like bananas!!! He’s tip toeing around, thinking about walking on his own a bit more. He loves to slide and swing like the big kids. Time flies by so quickly!

Seniors you know this… you were just freshman a minute ago! right? So 2009′ers… Don’t wait until the last minute to book your sessions. We are opening up the summer calendar in May. There is only so much time for me to shoot and still maintain all other business operations so sessions are limited.

Meanwhile……take a look around and see what you see and don’t be shy! Leave a comment and let us know what you think!

I have to tell you how much I love L’oreals Infallible LIPCOLOR. It comes in it’s own mirrored case and it simply ROCKS! This will be a great product for our senior sessions because it lasts soooo long.  First you apply the color and let that dry for about 2 minutes.  Then you apply the conditioning top coat. It’s that simple.  I am using #700 Auburn myself and I love it. At my last wedding gig, I applied it just as I arrived at the church and didn’t have to reapply for at least 6 hours into the event!
