Congratulations 2008!

It’s nearly May and the school year is down to the final 30 days! I am sure many of you are wondering how this year went by so fast. It seems like just yesterday you were up in the stands cheering at your final homecoming football game as a brand new SENIOR 2008!! As May quickly approaches you are about to cross over the finish line. Checkered flags waving! A whole new world is just at your fingertips. Can you feel it?

It’s an exciting time preparing to say good bye to the familiar halls, classes you love, classes you regret signing up for, the sound of the bell signaling the end of a long day, daydreaming, note writing, giggling friends, high school sweethearts, dances, practices, endless hours of homework, rehearsals, and term paper deadlines. Some friends you will stay in touch with your whole life some will fade only to be seen again at the occasional class reunion. One thing for sure… you will always have the memories and miles and miles of your snapshots of the years spend behind those doors and in the company of your BFF!

I have enjoyed meeting you all from high schools all over the Indianapolis and suburban areas to Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio. Thanks for a wonderful season of seniors!

Congratulations Class of 2008! Go out and make your mark on the world. and hey, keep in touch!!!!

Wide Open Spaces… the big {announcement}

I am very excited to announce some exciting changes! After months of searching and planning, I am thrilled to finally announce that I have a studio loft! We will have so much more space to accommodate our photo sessions as well as having an easier place to find! It’s close to many many of my favorite places aorund Mooresville so we can shoot outdoors as well as once again offering indoor studio lighting sessions.

What about the {Studio Lot} you ask? It will still be available from June- the fall season. So the couch in the feild, the beach hut, barn and more is still available on a limited basis. More options, more fun!

Will you still take Winters off from December – February? We’ll I am still a winter hermit and I need the break after all you seniors wear me out in the summer and fall buit the good news is I will be accepting a limited number of appointments in the winter months when we have never really been able to shoot much before. YEAH!!!!!

The loft is an upstairs space that features a huge ballroom that will serve as our shooting area.. the light is amazing!! We have a lounge and display area, kitchen and large bath and dressing room. So if you can do stairs we are in business. Now if you have a problem with going up and down stairs that doesnt mean we can’t do a session. We will just have to work together on location or at the Studio Outlot.

Here are a few shots of it now… just wait to see what we are up to. Fun paint colors and it is going to be SAWEEET!!! :) We are aiming for a Grand Opening on Sunday June 1st.
Talk to you soon!

{the entrance} sSee those stairs!!! I will loose weight! I will loose weight! I will loose weight!

{Update} Spring Bookings

April 08 is now closed for any further bookings.

I have 6 dates left in May for Seniors.  {May 08 Seniors} please keep in mind that getting your order back by graduation is not guaranteed at this point in time. Why? you ask. I will not sacrifice quality to rush through the proofing process. I want you to look your best and I want your prints to be top notch. After your session it typically takes 2 weeks for proofing, you have 7 days to place your order and it takes 3-4 weeks to get prints back from the lab. So getting prints back for open houses in June is a definite possibility but getting them back before graduation and in time to have them in your announcement mailings probably isn’t going to happen with a May appointment.

{2009} Seniors… please keep the above in mind! Do not wait until the last minute to get {YOUR} appointment booked. I have approximately 10 spots left in June according to my waiting list. If you want a June appointment email me right away to get on the waiting list for an appointment.

I will be unveiling some very exciting news on Monday April 14th!!!! Be sure to check back in for a pictorial and the latest breaking news for Marci Ralph Photography!!

{Samantha}

I’m very behind in blogging.  But just wanted to share a couple of Samantha. She is an 08 senior at Hamilton South Eastern High School in Carmel. She loves to travel and is very active in her churches youth department NORTH BEACH. We actually met and began our session at the church where they have the coolest teen area of any church I have ever seen. After that we drove south to Indy and the canal walk…

{I do} Ben and Stephanie

Sweetest couple ever!!! We had not met previous to the big day as they were coming in from Conneticut to get married. You could just see how much he treasured her and how special they both are was reflected in the love of thier family and friends.  They got married on one of th coldest days I can remember ever shooting a wedding on. It was windy and 27 degrees with a little snow in the air.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!  More previews to follow…
